What is tapioca starch?
The starch originates from Thailand and is made from Cassava and is also called cassava starch. We have a selection of different kinds of tapioca starch, both native and modified.
Thailand’s cassava industry accounts for more than 60% of global exports. It is one of theworld’s biggest producers of tapioca starch, made
from the cassava root. Further Vietnam is the second source in Asia.
Tapioca starch manufacturing process takes tapioca as the raw material, through grinding the washed tapioca into slurry, separating the impurities in starch slurry and drying the starch to get final edible starch. With advanced tapioca starch processing machine, the whole process is completed less than half an hour.
